Padma & Tamara selected for Scotland Team

Round up of the Senior Schools International for Padma Unnam & Tamara Martin

This years SSI was held in Sport Wales National Centre with it being Padma 5th time & Tamara’s 3rd competing for Scotland in an international schools event. Showing consistency and improvement throughout the last few years for both players

Padma and Nichole Lee competed as Scotland A in U16 Girls and won bronze medal with wins over Ireland, Guernsey and Wales, only losing to the England A & B teams

Tamara and Olivia Maxwell competed as Scotland B in the U16 Girls with both girls playing well & competing against top opposition. They finished 6th after losing out in close matches v Ireland & Wales.

Jurie Duvenage was part of 3 man umpire team sent by TTS to assist with umpiring the matches from morning until night. A great weekend for all with the Scotland team coming away with a record medal haul
